Catherine Matilda Holt

ROCHESTER, MINN:Catherine M. Holt, 70, formerly of Wichita, KS, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Sunrise Cottages in Rochester, where she had been a resident for eight days. Catherine was born June 26, 1941 in Bancroft, IA. Her only daughter, Carleen J. Holt passed away suddenly June 15, 2011 in Wichita. Catherine is survived by her sister, Jo (Jim) Roberts, Rochester, MN and her brother Bill (Dorothy) Janvrin, Stewartville, MN; many special nieces and nephews, and Darold's brothers and their families. Catherine is preceded in death by her daughter Carleen J. Holt, her husband Darold R. Holt, her brothers Donald, Filmore, and Joseph Janvrin, and her sister Bertie Ames. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mayo Clinic for cancer research.
