Carol Plantin

Memorial services for Carol M. Plantin, 87, of Rochester, Minnesota will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, Minnesota. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Carol Mary Nash was born on April 20, 1937, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Ray and Ethel (Robbe) Nash. She passed away on January 21, 2025, at Cottagewood in Rochester, MN.

Carol graduated from Robbinsdale High School in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. She married Jerry Plantin on June 29, 1955, in Minneapolis. She retired from Mayo Clinic as a lab technician in the Chemistry Department. Carol enjoyed dancing, playing cards, crossword puzzles and country music. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her three children; John (Elizabeth) Plantin, Dave (Medea) Plantin and Mary Faber, all of Rochester; thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and one sister, Ginny Cardenas. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jerry Plantin.

The family would like to thank Paul Czaplewski for his kindness to the Plantin family, especially to Carol.
