SEIDEL Carol Ann Seidel, 74, of Rochester, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at her home on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Carol was born August 5, 1942 in Red Wing, MN to Richard and Thelma (Finnesgard) Anderson. She was a 1960 graduate of John Marshall High School. In 1962 Carol married Gary Wheeler and they later divorced. She worked for 25 years at Brown Photo in Rochester and later Ritz Camera. Carol also spent 18 years at Silver Lake grocery. She enjoyed photography, reading, flower gardening and politics. Above all, Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dog Cooper. Carol is survived by her children, Douglas Wheeler of Rosemount, MN, Danny (Kris) Wheeler of Byron, MN and Kris Wheeler of Rochester, MN; step-children, Kelly (Kent) Eide, Lori (Scott) Russell, Jeff (Jean) Seidel, Dawn (Craig) Seidel, all of Rochester, MN. and Jill (John) Humeston of Ankeny, IA; grandchildren; great-grandchildren, a brother, Gary (Peggy) Anderson of Zumbrota, MN and a half-brother, Jay Carlson of Sequim, WA. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Thelma. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Bethel Lutheran Church with the Reverend Dr. Norman Wahl officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
