Byron Thompson

Byron Emmett Thompson Jr., 71, of Rochester, MN passed away on Saturday February 18, 2017. Memorial services will be later this year in Mt. Sherman, KY. He will be laid to rest near his parents and brother at pleasant ridge separate baptist church cemetery. Byron was born on October 23, 1945 in Wyoming, Il. Byron loved to go fishing, listen to music, cheer on the Minnesota Vikings and watching old westerns. He also enjoyed classic cars. His favorite song was old time rock and roll by Bob Seger. He was survived by his 3 children Byron Thompson of Ky. Anita (Thompson) Hegeman and husband Steve Hegeman of Amarillo, TX. Alice (Thompson) Hunter and husband Barry Hunter of White Oak, TX. A sister Ailene Warren and her daughter Brenda Mincks whom was like a sister. 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 on the way, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Byron Emmett Thompson Sr and Elsie Alice Thompson, 2 brothers Henry Thomas Thompson and Arvin Thompson, and a grandson Arvin Thompson.
