Blake R. Christopherson

Blake R. Christopherson, 61, of Chester, MN, died Monday, December 24, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Blake was born November 2, 1951 in Rochester to Robert and Ardeth Christopherson.Blake enjoyed fishing, watching Minnesota sports teams, and spending time with his children and grandkids.He was also an excellent handyman and could fix anything. He is survived by his children, Jason (Sara) Whitney of Byron, Jaime (Jaime) Conway of Andover, MN, Jerad (Jess) Christopherson of St. Charles, MN, Nathan (Brittney) Christopherson of Rochester, and Jody Christopherson of Pine Island, MN; eleven grandchildren, soon to be thirteen with twins on the way; siblings, David (Nancy) Christopherson of Zumbrota, Stewart (Shelly) Christopherson of Rochester, Martin (Brandi) Christopherson of Chester; and father and stepmother, Robert and Margaret Christopherson of Rochester.He was preceded in death by his mother, Ardeth Smith. A celebration of life will be held from 1:30 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Clarion Inn, 1630 S. Broadway, Rochester, MN.He will be truly missed.The family would like to thank Hospice Services.
