Known for her love of games, Beverly was an avid player of Bingo, Bunco, Pokeno and various card games which she enjoyed in the company of friends and family especially her late-night games with her sister Barbara. Her hobbies also included knitting, sewing and cross-stitch, coloring and reading, activities that reflected her gentle and peaceful nature. Beverly had a sweet tooth and enjoyed ice cream and treats, or really any treat, often while watching her favorite shows on the Game Show Network.

She is survived by her loving family including her sister Barbara Ward; daughters Holly (Vern) Larkin and Kelly King (Dave Smith); stepdaughter Janet (Jim) Lang; granddaughters Kristen (Gregg) Gabriel, Joelle (Leif) Syverson, Alison Lang Shoemaker (Dave), Heather Lang Schuller (Peter), Jennifer Lang, Greg (Kelly) Lang, Sarah Trygstad (Sam Ghareeb), Meredith (Phil) Haney, Jada King, Kassie (Adam) Hoyer, and numerous great grandchildren.

Beverly will be remembered fondly for her warm presence, her joy in simple pleasures, and the love she shared with those around her. Her legacy of kindness and family devotion will continue to live on through her descendants.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to her care team at Mayo Clinic Palliative Care Rochester Methodist Hospital.

There will be a private family burial Friday July 26th, 2024.
