Betty M. Wittlief

Funeral services for Betty M. Wittlief, 90, of Oronoco, MN will be at 1:30pm on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church in Oronoco with Rev. Ben Kempfert officiating.Burial will be at Oronoco Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5:00 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Betty Marie Burgett was born on December 1, 1925 in Howard County, IA to Elmer and Johanna (Quam) Burgett.She passed away on February 10, 2016 at the Pine Haven Care Center. Betty attended rural schools and worked at the Worrell Hospital in Rochester.She married Ralph Wifflief on April 9, 1958 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester.The couple farmed in the Oronoco area until 1990.Betty enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughter, Wendy Wittlief of Pine Island, MN and her son, Edward Wittlief of Oronoco, MN; three grandchildren, Johanna Elizabeth Wittlief, Jonathan Michael Wittlief and Elizabeth Kay Wittlief.She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, two brothers, one sister, one nephew and three nieces.
