Betty Lou Tradup

ROCHESTER -Betty L. Tradup, 85, died on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Golden Living Center East in Rochester. Betty was born in Dover, MN on September 4, 1928 to Archie and Loraine (Armstrong) Drake.She moved to Rochester in 1936 and graduated from Rochester High School in 1946.Betty married Henry Tradup on November 24, 1949 in Rochester.Henry died on May 5, 1985.Betty worked at Mayo Clinic for 29 years as a desk attendant.She loved collecting, babysitting, and spending time with her great friends at the Salvation Army and Rochester. Betty is survived by three nieces, Debra (Brian) Hall, of High Point, NC, Brenda (Paul) Rasmussen, of Inver Grove Heights, MN, and Beverly (Mark) Prueher, of St. Cloud, MN; and a nephew, James P. Lewis, of Inver Grove Heights, MN. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her parents; and a brother, James W. Lewis. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home.Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be directed to a charity of your choice.
