Betty Keckhafer

Betty Keckhafer, 89, of Rochester, MN passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her home. Betty Marie Peck was born February 3, 1927 in Rochester, MN to John and Ida (Hain) Peck.Betty attended school in Rochester.She worked as a waitress at Princess Caf, Bennies Drive-in and Starlite Outdoor Theatre in Rochester.Betty married Henry Keckhafer on January 12, 1945 in Rochester.Henry passed away on April 28, 2004.Betty sold home party products Artex-Trichem art and craft paints and Stanley products.She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting and fishing and camping at the cabin. Betty is survived by her children, John Keckhafer of Rochester, MN, Thomas Keckhafer of Santee, CA, James (Laurie) Keckhafer of Eyota, MN, Marie (Raymond) Siewert of Rochester, MN, Gerald (Kristine) Keckhafer of Rochester, MN and Dennis (Joan Spitzack) Keckhafer of Grand Rapids, MN; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry; son, Ronald; one sister and seven brothers. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with the Reverend Katy Lee officiating.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
