Bessie "Betty" R. Wilson

Bessie Betty R. Wilson Bessie Ruth Wilson, age 91 formerly of Rochester passed away April 27, 2014 at St. Anne Extended Care Center in Winona.She was born May 13, 1922 in New Underwood, South Dakota the daughter of Erwin & Nora (Schoonmaker) Jewell.She married Conrad Clair Wilson on September 2, 1939 and he preceded her in death March 31, 1995.She was a homemaker, and a long time member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester.She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crafts.Surviving her are her four daughters, Connie Larson of Wabasha, Barbara Dahlke of Winona, Karen Dunn of Destin, FL and Judith Judee Olson of Prior Lake, MN.She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren and one brother Robert Williamson of Seattle, WA.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.A memorial celebration of her life will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place in the columbarium at Oakwood Cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the favorite charity of donor's choice.
