Bertha Sanders

Bertha Lee Sanders, age 86, of Rochester passed away November 27, 2014 at Cottagewood Senior Community in Rochester.She was born January 26, 1928 in LaPlata, MO to William R. & Marie E. (Blake) Billington Sr.She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and especially quilting.She was a member of the Quilters Sew-ciety for many years.She enjoyed spending time with family and especially being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.She married Jacob Sanders on August 23, 1946 in Kansas and he survives.Also surviving are 3 sons: Michael Sanders of Albertville, MN, Richard (Beverly) Sanders, and Douglas Sanders both of Rochester, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Jr.Visitation will be held 4-6 PM Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes.Memorials appreciated to a favorite charity of donor's choice.
