Barbara Meyer

Barbara J. Meyer, 66, of Rochester passed away at her home on Thursday, September 7th. Barb was born August 27, 1951 in Wabasha to Simon and Jeanette (Maahs) Meyer. She lived in rural Theilman and then made her home at Hiawatha Homes, in Rochester. Barb had a smile that could light up a room, and she enjoyed those around her. She loved her many friends and staff both at Hiawatha Homes, Inc. and also PossAbilities of Southern Minnesota. She is survived by her brothers Albert (Marie), Theilman and John (Bonnie), Plainview; and her sister Mary (Mark) Bergene, Cedar Falls, IA, and her close friend and guardian Pam Fontem, Lake City. She is preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Barb's life, on Friday, September 15th at 11am, which will be held at the Ranfranz &Vine Funeral Home at 5421 Royal Place NW in Rochester. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, and burial will follow the service at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Conception.
