Barbara "Barbie" Jane Donaldson

Rochester- Barbara Barbie Jane Donaldson, 80, of Rochester, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Monday, May 23, 2011 after a brief illness. She was born May 16, 1931 to Bernard and Lucy (Lovelace) Buckbesch. She lived and worked in Rochester as a longtime bartender. Her joys in life were spending time traveling with her family. Barbie is survived by her children, Cheri Avila of Rochester, Steve Smith of Garrison, MN, Curt (Sharon) Smith, Elizabeth Sissy (Steve) Blom all of Rochester; 13 grandchildren, Bradley, Danny, Christopher, Jennifer, Kerri, Matthew, Gina, Mitch, Taneya, Deanna, Shannon, Michelle, Stacy and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of life will be held 4:00-8:00pm Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester.
