Bany James Chan

On Monday, July 13th, Banypiny "Bany" Chan, loving son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away at the age of 24. Bany was born on April 26th, 1996 in Des Moines, IA to Chan Chagor and Mary Muon. Bany was involved in many sports including football and wrestling. He received a football scholarship to a junior college but completed the majority of his studies at Mankato State for 3 years. Bany was known for his beautiful, infectious smile. He loved music and dancing. Bany was definitely the life of the party. He was very family oriented and was actively present in the lives of his niece and nephew. Bany is survived by his father, Chan; mother, Mary; siblings, Chol, Nyaboth, Nyaduoth, Dedoch, and Gai; nephew, Armani; niece, Kaia and many cousins.
