Avis "Blondie" Crowson

Avis Blondie Crowson (Lee) Blondie Lee Crowson, 87, left this world on March 3, surrounded by her loving family.She was born to Melvin and Emma (Platte) Lee on May 10, 1926 in Kasson. Her family owned Cascade Grocery on 7th Street N.W.She graduated from Rochester High School in 1944 and married Gerold Ty Crowson on July 24, 1944their union lasted 69 years.They made their home in Rochester, where Ty was a homebuilder. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Dawn Crowson, her parents, her sister, Marlys, and her mentor and loving grandmother, Ida Lee.She is survived by her husband, Ty;her children, Terry Crowson (Cheryl) of St. Paul, Cathy Crowson (Dan Pitsch) of Lakeville, and Jordan Crowson (Holly) of Dublin, Ohio;son-in-law Jay Clarkson; grandchildren Libby Koomar (Jim), Heidi Interdonato, Anthony Interdonato, Ben Crowson (Angie), Collin Crowson, Andrew Clarkson, Emily Clarkson, and Nate Crowson;great-grandchildrenNick Goble, Courtney Goble, and Kate Interdonato.
