Aurel Timboiu

ROCHESTER:Aurel Timboiu, age 71, of Rochester passed away suddenly at his home January 24, 2012. Aurel was born in Romania on October 11, 1940 the eldest son of Jon and Rosalita Timboiu.He worked for 18 years at Quality Pork in Austin retiring in 2006.He was a former member of the Moose Lodge.He would do anything for anyone that asked for his help.He and Doreen Day met during the 1970's, they made a home together.Aurel has been a wonderful caregiver for Doreen during her past illnesses. Aurel is survived by his longtime companion, Doreen Day of Rochester; his brother, Toma and three sisters, Victoria, Helen and Maria all of Romania.He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes with a visitation one hour before the services.A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow his services.Burial will take place at a later date in Romania.
