Audrey Arlene Kroening passed away peacefully at home on November 1, 2021. Born Audrey Ayshford on March 14, 1934 to George and Hannah (Haugen) Ayshford, she lived all of her life in Rochester. After working at Mayo Clinic in the 1950s, she met and married Loren Kroening on June 4, 1954 and they enjoyed living & working on the farm for many years in Haverhill Township. She was active as a 4-H leader, homemaker, gardener, grandmother, Red Hat groups, and a member Evangel United Methodist Church. She is survived by three children: Lori (Dave) Adams, Lisa (Todd) Fanning, and Todd (Lynn) Kroening; six grandchildren: Brad (Shelly) Fieck, Ryan Fanning and Samantha (Matt Bjerqum) Fanning, Alissa (Joe Billmeyer) Kroening, Emily Kroening, and Mitchell (Chelsea) Kroening; three great-grandchildren: Dayton and Tate Fieck, Weston Kroening; and her sister-in-law, Myrna Kroening, and brother-in-law, Orin Peck. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Arlene, Harlan, Phyllis, and Marlene, and her husband, Loren. A memorial service and celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, with a visitation from 9:30-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
