Audrey Julia Albach

Audrey Julia Albach age 71 of Rochester passed away Saturday March 23, 2013 at the Golden Living Center West where she had resided the past several months.She was born October 11, 1941 in Sauk Rapids, MN the daughter of Edward & Julia (Skuza) Blank.She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed the times spent with her family.She had lived in Rochester the past twenty five years and kept busy cleaning houses and worked as a waitress for various restaurants.Her greatest passion was animals, and she rescued many strays that became her pets over the years.She also enjoyed being outdoors and spent her weekends bargain hunting various yard and garage sales, all most always finding something. Surviving are her children: Jerome Gertken (Marie) of Rochester, and Debra Nordquist (Andrew) of Faribault, three grandchildren: Jennifer Thoreson (Adam), Joshua Brase (Cassie Paulson), and Rebecca Anhorn.Five great grandchildren: Macy, Chase, Cayden, Colin, and Meilyr and her two very special pets Tommy and Louie.She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.In keeping with her personal wishes, she was cremated and a family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
