Arletta A. Chapman

A memorial service for Arletta A. Chapman, 85, of Rochester, MN will be at 2:00pm on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Rochester Assembly of God.Burial of her cremated remains will be at Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.Visitation will be from 4:00 7:00pm on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Arletta Ann Chapman was born on July 24, 1929 in Rochester, MN to Harry and Mabel (Walton) Chapman.She passed away on September 24, 2014 surrounded by her family at Rochester Golden Living Center East. Arletta graduated from Rochester High School in 1947.She was a secretary for 50 years at Pendle-Hanson and Bagne.She was a member of Rochester Assembly of God and taught Sunday School for over 60 years.She enjoyed her family and playing the organ and piano. Survivors include her brother, Cecil Chapman of Jennison, MI and she was a surrogate grandmother to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and two nephews. The family would like to thank Cottagewood, Seasons Hospice and Rochester Golden Living East for their wonderful care. Memorials are suggested to the Sunday School Program at Rochester Assembly of God Church.
