Arlene Peterson

Arlene Y. Peterson, 83, of Oronoco died on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Edenbrook. Arlene was born on December 14, 1936 to Robert and Argene (Rausch) Hass in Stewartville, Minnesota. Arlene graduated from Stewartville High School and went on to work for Weber and Judd Pharmacy. On March 11, 1956, Arlene married Floyd Peterson in Pleasant Valley and moved to Oronoco. Arlene enjoyed playing card games, crossword puzzles, reading the newspaper, gardening, camping, and spending time with family. Arlene is survived by her husband, Floyd of Oronoco; children, Sharon Peterson of Oronoco, Gary Peterson of Key Largo, FL, Steven (MaryAnn) Peterson of Rochester, Richard (Mary) Peterson of Lyle, Jason Peterson of Rochester; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert; daughter, Kay; brothers, Paul, Arne, Rueben and sister, Vera. A funeral service will be on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN 55901. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. and one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oronoco Cemetery.
