Anne Zumbrunnen Deceased September 12, 2016 Anne Zumbrunnen of Rochester, Minnesota and formerly of Burnsville, Minnesota passed away of complications related to congestive heart failure and scleroderma on September 12, 2016 at the age of 86. After attending New York University, Anne accepted a position in the Air and Airways Communication Services of the U.S. Air Force in post WWII Germany. During her time there, she met and married Lynn Zumbrunnen of Salt Lake City, Utah. They returned to the United States and raised three children. Anne also held secretarial positions, most recently with the Minneapolis advertising and marketing agency, Campbell Mithun. Following her retirement, Anne worked as a volunteer at Methodist Hospital in Rochester. Anne was intellectually curious and enjoyed reading biographies and other books. She collected in journals words of wisdom that she encountered in her reading. She was fond of riding her bicycle with family and friends along Minnesotas paved trails. Anne was a devoted mother, who always placed the well being of her children first. She gathered her family together for memorable meals at local restaurants whenever possible. Anne loved her family and friends and was well loved by them. Anne is survived by her daughter Cynthia, sons David and Michael, daughters-in-law Elizabeth and Laurie, grandchildren Kyle, Christopher, Adam, and Alice, four great grandchildren, and brother Victor.
