Anita Siegmann, age 83, of Rochester, died on Monday, November 24, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester. The burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be from 4:00 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Anita Rose Ling was born on April 14, 1931, in rural Round Lake to C. Glenn and Dorothy (Neuhring) Ling. She graduated from Round Lake High School and received her nursing degree from Kahler School of Nursing in 1952. On June 28, 1952, she married Elmer Siegmann in Worthington, MN. Anitaworked at the Kahler Hospital in Rochester as a registered nurse. She became a mother and homemaker, she later returned to work at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester. On October 13, 1976, Elmer passed away. Anita was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester. She enjoyed needle work, crafts, reading, and gardening. Anita also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anita is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Dave) Rootham of Spring Lake Park, MN, Sharon (Al) Cedar of Arvada, CO. and Rosy (Mark) Loftus of Kasson; son, Bill (RoseAnn) Siegmann of Lino Lakes, MN; son-in-law, Roger Eidem of Eyota; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Schueller of Webster; sisters-in-law, Esther Ebnet of Sleepy Eye, MN. and Barbara Ling of Chino Hills, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; daughter, Marie Eidem; grandson, Bradley Siegmann; sister, Lucille Paine and brother, Ted Ling.
