Andrew Reinke

Andrew "Andy" Mikkel Reinke, age 38, of Rochester, Minnesota died unexpectedly after a brief illness, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at his home in Rochester.

Andy was born on June 1, 1985 to Roland and Patricia (Runde) Reinke. He grew up in Rochester attending Century High School where he graduated in 2003. He went on to Rochester Community and Technical College to study Criminal Justice. Following graduation up until his death, he proudly served in Olmsted County as a Detention Corporal.

Andy married Angela Johnson on September 13, 2014 and in their union had two beautiful boys, Thomas and Cameron whom he deeply loved.

Andy enjoyed hunting; especially deer and snow goose hunting. He also enjoyed simply being outdoors, including golfing, fishing, making sure his lawn was to his liking, sitting around a campfire and adventures to various breweries.

Andy would do anything for "his people". He always seemed to know someone who could help with various projects or advice. He cherished his family and friends.

Andy is survived by his wife Angela; two sons, Thomas and Cameron; father Roland Reinke; mother Patricia (Stephen) Stensrud; siblings Nicole (Kenny) Loftus, Chad (Angie) Stensrud, Erik (Dana) Stensrud, and Steve Stensrud JR.; father in law Steve (Judy Burk) Johnson; brother in law Dan Johnson; sister in law Kathie (Brandon Hall) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother in law Darlene Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home (5421 Royal PL NW, Rochester, MN). A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow at the Remembrance and Reception Centre (5482 Royal PL NW).
