Andreas "Andy" Tollefson A memorial service for Andreas "Andy" Robert John Kirby Tollefson, 38, of Rochester will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial of his cremated remains will be at Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, ND at a later date. Andy graduated from Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School in 1999. He attended Riverland Community College in Austin and the University Center in Rochester. Andy enjoyed his children, social justice and politics, community theater, Nintendo, film production, traveling and macaroni and cheese. Survivors include his children, Eva, Novalee, Jack, Roxanne and Evan, all of Rochester; mother, Jodi Tollefson of Rochester; siblings, Jenny Tollefson (Dave Hughes) of Perham, MN, Katie (Jason) Grabow of International Falls, MN and Melissa (Greg) Rosentreter of Fergus Falls, MN; nephews, Patrik Tollefson, Mason Hughes, Ethan Rosentreter and L.J. Grabow; nieces, Sydney Johnson, Lexie Rosentreter and Aria Grabow; uncles, Wayne (Erna) Johnson of Park Rapids, MN, Jim (Kay) Johnson of Fargo, ND and Lori (Skip) Gooch of Sioux Falls, SD; cousins, Derek (Aimee) Johnson, Brady (Hillary) Johnson, Robin Johnson, Emma Johnson, Laura (Spencer) Schenk, Lindsay Gooch, Chris Gooch and Logan Gooch; and his heart brother, Eliot North. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; brother, Patrik; grandparents, Robert and Lois Johnson and cousin Sarah Johnson. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Dearani and the staff of Mayo St. Marys Mary Brigh 5B for exceptional care and compassion. Also our deep gratitude for the extensive assistance from Emily Day Tollefson during this difficult time.
