Almina I. Hendershot, age 92, of Rochester, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital St. Marys Campus in Rochester, MN.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church 2810 40th Ave. SE Rochester. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service June 17th at the church. Almina Inez Clement was born on May 5, 1924, in Olmsted County to Lee and Nellie (Jenkins) Clement. On October 5, 1942, she married Glenn Hendershot in Rochester. After their marriage, they moved to Igloo, SD to work in a defense plant. They returned to Rochester, where she worked at Waters Conley and then at the State Hospital as a dietary cook. In 1964, Almina went into the guest home business until 1981. In 1991, she managed Bobs Mobile Home Court for her son. Almina is survived by her children, Lonney (Connie) Hendershot of Llano, TX and Delbert (Jacqueline) Hendershot of Rochester; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Almina was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; parents; two sisters; and six brothers.
