Alma graduated from Spring Valley High School.She worked at the Central Appointment Desk at Mayo Clinic, retiring after 44 years of service.She married Robert D. Abolt on January 28, 1950 and the couple made their home in Rochester.Alma enjoyed playing cards, reading, bird watching and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her 2 sons, Robert (Ann) Abolt of Elgin, MN and Scott (Jane) Abolt of Rochester, MN; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and 1 sister, Susan (Todd)Halsteadof Mobile, Alabama.Alma was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Lori and 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Graveside services will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester at a later date.
