Alice Corrine Novotne

ROCHESTER, MINN: Alice Corrine Novotne, 85, passed away October 28, 2012 at Arbor Terrace. Alice was born August 12, 1927 in Rochester. She was the daughter of Harley and Carrie (Butruff) O'Connor. On July 4, 1944, Alice married Kenneth Novotne. Alice was an avid reader, enjoyed singing and was active in daily activities at Arbor Terrace. Alice is survived by her children, Kay (Dick) Rasmussen of Plainview, Barbara Olson of Rochester, Thomas (Cindy) Novotne of Rochester, Harley (Vicky) Novotne of Rochester, Rolland Novotne of Rochester, Jann Peters of Rochester, Vern Novotne of Rochester; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband Kenneth; parents, Harley and Carrie, and 2 grandchildren. . A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 2, 2012 at Samaritan Bethany Chapel 24 8th St NW, Rochester, MN 55901. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of the service.
