Alden R. Banks, Jr.

Alden Jai Banks was born on March 8, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York to Alden Sr. and Sonia Banks. Alden Jr. was affectionately known as Junie, Jr. Banks, Jai, and Jaibei. He was the 1st of five children born to this union. Alden accepted Christ and was a member of Rochester Community Baptist Church. Jai attended William T. Sherman Elementary School, furthered his education by attending Edward Tilden High School. After obtaining his diploma Jai continued his education where he received numerous certifications. In 1993 Jai married wife Bridgett fudie Banks and to that union they had three beautiful children. Junie will be remembered as a strong friendly man, who everyone could depend on and looked up to. Jr. Banks was an exceptional man, and best friend. He was a loving brother who helped to raise and teach his sibling, in every aspect of life. He was the rock of his sibling, family and friends. Jai was called home on March 30, 2014.He was preceded in death by his, grandfather Bert Patten, Aunt Doreen Tench, Brother Brain Farber, Aunt Hazel Bennett, cousins Joan Gill, Brian Bennett, niece Emily Tubbs, Father in-law Theodia Henry, one brother in law Leodia Henry. Jai leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Bridgett Banks; two sons Theodia Henry and Alden R. Banks III; one daughter Flora Banks; his mother Sonia E. Banks, his father Alden R. Banks Sr; his grandmothers Mavis Middelton and Vinton Banks; grandfather Aurther Banks; mother in-law Flora Henry; three grandsons: Sylenze, Theodia, Isaiah; one granddaughter Harmony; Four Sisters Ebony Mapp, Allison Nicole: Banks, Leslie Ridgley (Dejuan), Monique Banks; two brothers Phillip, Andrew Banks, one brother in-law Everett Henry(Marry);four sister in-laws Mary Dortch(Floyd), Beverly Lowery, Crystal Smith(Darrell), ; a special companion Katie Kay, best friend Darrell Smith and a host of aunts, uncles,nieces, nephews, cousins.
