Agnes Gertrude Moyer

ROCHESTER, MINN: Agnes G. Moyer, 91, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Golden Living East. Agnes was born March 21, 1921 in Rochester to Frank and Clara (Theel) Groth. On October 10, 1946, Agnes married Duane Moyer at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was very active in the church, participating in many of the church groups. Agnes enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, playing cards and following the Vikings and Twins. Her main love in life was spending time with her family, creating many memories. Agnes is survived by her children, Cheryl (Michael) Shovlain of Bettendorf, IA, Dave (Kathy Ranfranz) Moyer of Rochester, Julie Ladage of Rochester; 5 grandchildren, Dana Kurtz, James (Amy) Kurtz, Kevin Moyer, Ross (Bridget) Moyer, Eric Ladage; 1 step-grandchild, Kelsey Ranfranz-Fisher; and 1 great-grandson, Mason Kurtz. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; brother, Harold and by her parents, Frank and Clara. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Redeemer Lutheran Church 869 7th Ave. SE, Rochester, MN 55904. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00pm Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN 55901 and one hour prior to the service at church. The Rev. James W.
