Agnes (Floss) Snyder passed away June 17, 2012 at her home after a courageous year long battle with cancer.Her family was close by and was able to care for her for several months prior to her passing. Floss had many interests, including caring for her vibrant garden, reading, Minnesota sports, interior decorating, and above all her friends and family. In the many cities Floss lived in, she made any house feel like a home. Her family remembers her as a fearless woman who did cartwheels well into her 60's. Her spunk was prominent right up to her last moments on Earth. She is survived by her husband, Dr. George Snyder; her children, Robert and Pamyla Snyder, Douglas Snyder and Cynthia Ells, Kathryn Snyder, Karen Snyder and Phil Rynearson; sisters, Emma Rissoli and Carolyn Snyder; her many wonderful grandchildren, Chad, Kyle, Emily, Benjamin, Courtney, Madelin, Oceanna, Samuel, Anna, and great-grandchildren, Jack and Mia. Agnes Snyder will be greatly missed, but as her death is recognized, the life she lived will be celebrated by many. She was indeed, a woman to be celebrated. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held 5:30 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held from 4:30 PM until time of service.
