Abang Kwot

Abang Ojulu Kwot, 46, of Rochester Minnesota, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020, with yet to be determined causes. Born January 1, 1974 in Sudan, to father Ojulu Aganya and mother Akello Olok. Abang was a loving wife and proud mother; married to Dr. Gugo Obang Kwot with five beautiful daughters, Abarach Obang (27), Ochutho Obang (20), Romi-Beet Obang (16), Ajany Obang (12), Ajumo Obang (3); grandson, Anthony Frey (4). Everyone knew Abang to be kind and gentle, with a contagious vibrant personality. She was a caring, compassionate and a respectful woman that would go the extra mile to put a smile on your face. As her devotion to being a wife, mother and grandmother, she always motivated her family to strive for the best and to follow their dreams, no matter what they may have looked like. Abang not only wanted to see greatness in her family but also in the community. She stretched herself in many different ways whether attending a church gathering or community events. With every interaction with her lively spirit she left an imprint on our hearts. Come help celebrate her beautiful life as we know it at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, June 6th from 9 am-10 am with the funeral service at 10 am at Ranfranz & Vine. Attendance at Ranfranz & Vine will be limited to 75 people and masks are required due to COVID-19 restrictions; there will be a socially distanced time of fellowship Saturday afternoon on the lawn at the Rochester Covenant Church (masks required) following the funeral and gravesite service for those wishing to express condolences in person.
