Aalea Claire Dydell

Aalea Claire Dydell, 26, of Rochester, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016. Aalea was born January 21, 1990 in Saint Joseph, Missouri to Mark and Susan (Schoeneck) Dydell. She was a 2008 graduate of Century High School. While in school Aalea enjoyed basketball, and was named All-State in track and field, in which she still holds many records. Aalea was the most giving, loving and caring sister and daughter, who left us too soon. She was always wanting to help others. She loved people, especially children and was known as auntie Lee Lee and auntie Tee Tee by many. Aalea lived in the moment, was very upbeat and outgoing with an infectious smile. We will never forget her laughter and love. Aalea is survived by her mother, Susan Dydell of Byron; siblings, Aaron Dydell of Stockton, CA, Aamie (Dan) Calloway of St. Paul, MN, Aadam Dydell of Minneapolis, MN, Aalix (Brenda Haley) Dydell of Rochester, Aasha Dydell of Rochester; 3 nephews; 2 nieces; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Dolores Schoeneck of Saint Joseph, MO and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Aalea was preceded in death by her daughter, Ameeyah Amor; father, Mark Dydell; paternal grandmother, Betty Wilson Dydell and her uncle, Raymond Dydell. A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW., Rochester. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00PM Friday, February 19, 2016 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. The Rev. Regina Stillman will be officiating. Aalea will be cremated following the service and later interred in Ashland Cemetery in Saint Joseph, MO. Memorial contributions may be made through GoFundMe.com.
